GearUP Team Plans: How to Choose Between Duo and Squad Memberships
> ## Quick Answer
> GearUP offers two team membership plans: Duo, for two players, and Squad, for up to five players. Both include the same membership features; the main differences are the number of people sharing the membership and the cost. If you usually play with one friend, the Duo plan is suitable for you. If you frequently play multiplayer competitive matches and have a fixed team, you can choose the Squad plan. The following sections will provide a detailed introduction to the team memberships.
What Are Team Plans?
GearUP’s new subscription option is designed to let players who have fixed teammates and who share network connection issues share network optimization services. It only requires the Team Owner to subscribe, who can then invite other players to join, and all players in the team receive the same membership benefits. Compared with single-player subscriptions, Team Plans are more cost-effective and more convenient to subscribe to.

Which Plan to Choose?
Besides choosing a plan based on the number of fixed teammates, you can also decide according to your regular gaming habits:
| You Usually Play | Recommended Plan |
|---|---|
| One regular teammate (It Takes Two, A Way Out, FC 26 Co-op) | Duo Plan |
| Small team of 3–5 players (Valorant, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends) | Squad Plan |
Note, GearUP Team Plans allow inviting or removing members during the subscription, so if you are certain you usually play with more than two people, Squad is the best choice.
