What is a Team Plan?

A Team Plan is a membership that can be shared by multiple people. Once a Team Owner purchases it, they can invite friends to join the team, and every member enjoys exactly the same benefits as the Team Owner, with their membership duration always synced to the Team Owner's. It currently comes in two sizes — Duo (2 people) and Squad (5 people) — offering better value than buying individual memberships separately, making it ideal for using together with friends or family.

Q1. How do I purchase a Team Plan? Are there any restrictions?

Switch to the Duo or Squad tab at the top of the payment page, choose a duration, and complete the payment. Once the purchase succeeds, the Team Owner's membership is activated immediately and valid for the purchased duration. You also receive N-1 sub-seat invitation slots (1 for Duo, 4 for Squad).

Purchase rules to note:

  • No active membership can be in effect when you buy a Team Plan as Team Owner (any existing individual membership must expire first).
  • Existing Team Owners can only purchase the same type of plan (a 5-seat team can only buy 5-seat plans) and cannot switch to Duo or other plans.
  • Multiple purchases are allowed, but duration stacks while team count does not increase. For example, buying 2 annual plans gives 2 years of membership, not 2 teams with 8 members.

Q2. How do I invite, cancel, or remove members?

The Team Owner manages seats in the "Settings → Account Settings → My Team" panel. Each sub-seat has three states: Vacant → Pending → Active, and can revert back.

  • Invite: Generate a unique invite link for a vacant seat and send it to a teammate. The seat then enters "Pending" status. A link is only valid for the first user who activates it; inviting multiple people requires generating multiple different links.
  • Cancel invitation: A Pending invitation can be canceled at any time. The seat reverts to Vacant, the original link is voided, and a new link is generated when inviting again.
  • Remove member: An Active member can be removed by the Team Owner unilaterally, without the member's consent. The removed member's membership expires the same day, but the seat cannot be reused to invite others for 7 days.

Note: The invitee must be in the same region as the inviter, otherwise they cannot join the team.

Q3. What happens with renewal, cancellation, and renewal failure?

Only the Team Owner can decide on renewal and cancellation: if renewal succeeds, all seats in the team are automatically extended and members need to do nothing; if renewal is canceled, all members lose access upon expiry; if renewal fails and the membership expires, all seats in the team become invalid immediately.

Q4. How do I join a team? What conditions must be met?

Join by logging in on the web page via the Team Owner's invite link — the seat is activated immediately. This requires the link to still be valid, the current account to have no active membership, and to be in the same pricing region as the Team Owner.

Q5. What rights and restrictions do members have?

Members enjoy exactly the same membership benefits as the Team Owner, with duration always synced to the Team Owner's — it auto-extends upon renewal with no action needed. However, seats cannot be transferred independently, one account can belong to only one team at a time, and an existing member cannot purchase any plan before the current membership ends. If removed by the Team Owner, membership expires immediately.
