Which Regions Might Encounter the Tapir Error?

1. Open Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings.

Use a VPN

A VPN is the first solution many players consider, with the goal of bypassing regional restrictions. If you use a high-quality or paid VPN, this will most likely work. However, due to the nature of VPNs:

• They treat all traffic the same.
• Even intelligent or split-tunnel modes cannot precisely distinguish Destiny 2 traffic.

This can result in high latency, disconnects, and other issues even if you successfully connect to the server. In addition, some regions have strict restrictions on VPN use.
