How to Use GearUP Plugin on Tenda Router

GearUP is built into supported Tenda routers. You do not need to install a separate router plugin. Enable it in the Tenda WiFi App first, then use the GearUP Router App to configure game acceleration.

> If Game Booster is unavailable, confirm that your Tenda router supports GearUP and update its firmware to the latest version.

Step 1: Enable GearUP in the Tenda WiFi App

  1. Connect your phone to your Tenda router’s Wi‑Fi network.
  2. Open the Tenda WiFi App and select your router from the home page.
  3. Go to More Functions > Game Booster.

  4. Turn on GearUP Router Game Booster.

Step 2: Download and Set Up the GearUP Router App

  1. Download and open the GearUP Router App from your mobile app store.
  2. Sign in to your GearUP account, or create one by following the in-app instructions.
  3. Follow the app prompts to bind your Tenda router.

> GearUP must already be enabled on your router. The GearUP Router App cannot enable or disable the GearUP feature by itself.

Step 3: Select a Device, Game, and Server

  1. Connect your gaming device—phone, PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch—to the Tenda router through Wi‑Fi or a LAN port.
  2. Open the device list in the GearUP Router App and select the device you want to boost.
  3. Select the game you want to accelerate. If prompted, select its game server or region.
  4. Tap Boost to start acceleration. Tap Stop when you are finished.

> If your device does not appear in the list, reconnect it to the router’s network, wait about two minutes, then refresh the list.
