Android Game Installation Guide

To ensure you can successfully install and enjoy the game, please follow the steps below:

1. Allow Installation Permission

If you see prompts such as “Unknown Source”, “Potential Risk”, or “Installation Blocked”, don’t worry — all installation packages provided by GearUP have passed official security checks.

💡 Action Required: Please tap “Allow”, “Continue”, or “Install Anyway”.

2. Installing APK / XAPK / APKS Files

Some large games or special installation packages cannot be installed directly through the system default installer. They require the GearUP App to complete parsing and installation.

  • APK Files: Can be downloaded and installed directly.
  • XAPK / APKS Files: Please download and install the GearUP App first. Once installed, game installation, resource file extraction, missing file repair, and Split APK installation will be completed automatically.

3. Handle System Restrictions

Some Android devices restrict third-party installations by default. Find your device brand below to adjust the settings:

  • Xiaomi / Redmi: Disable “Pure Mode”.
  • Huawei / HONOR: Allow third-party app installation.
  • Samsung / OPPO / vivo: Enable “Install unknown apps” permission.

4. Check Storage Space

Large games require additional storage for downloading and unpacking resources. It is highly recommended to keep at least 10GB of free space available.

If the installation fails, try the following:

  1. Clear up storage space on your device.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. Uninstall the old version of the game completely, then try reinstalling.

5. Update & Network Issues

When launching the game for the first time, additional resources or updates may be required. If you encounter issues such as “Update Stuck”, “Download Failed”, or “Unable to Connect to Server”, we recommend:

  • Switching to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network.
  • Restarting the game.

⚙️ Package Parsing Error

The installation file might be incomplete or corrupted. Please re-download the file and try installing it again.

🔄 Game Keeps Downloading Resources

There may be a conflict with cached data. Please completely remove old files/the app and perform a clean reinstallation.

🌐 Unable to Enter the Game / Unable to Connect to Server

This is usually caused by unstable network conditions or regional connection restrictions.

  • Switch to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network.
  • Restart the game.
