Q1: How do I use Keenetic or Netcraze routers with GearUP Router?

Q2: Is it necessary to install Entware / OPKG?

A: Yes. In the current beta plugin solution, OPKG/Entware is a required component for installing the GearUP plugin. You must install it before proceeding with the plugin installation.

Q3: Which Keenetic / Netcraze models are supported? Do all models require the plugin?

A: All currently supported Keenetic and Netcraze routers require the plugin to be installed in order to use GearUP boosting. There are no models that work without the plugin.

Q4: Are there any differences between Keenetic and Netcraze router configuration?

A: The installation process is identical for both. Both require OPKG/Entware installation and SSH access. The only difference is the final plugin installation command:

  • Keenetic: wget -qO- sdp.gg/ke | sh
  • Netcraze: wget -qO- sdp.gg/ne | sh
