How to Use GearUP Router Plugin in ZTE Router

Step 1

Go to the app store (App Store or Google Play) and download the GearUP Router and ZTE Smart Life apps.

Step 2

Open the ZTE Smart Life app, connect to your ZTE router, then tap Smart Game Boost at the lower right of the Network category to enable the plugin (the plugin only needs to be enabled once; it will remain enabled by default afterwards and does not need to be turned off).

Step 3

After enabling the plugin, you can use the GearUP Router app to optimize your game network; it provides a more complete and convenient experience.

1. Connect your game console/device to the router.
2. Open the GearUP Router app and choose the game you want to optimize.
   
3. Select the server.
   
4. Start boosting, then you can launch the game.
   

• Tips 1: In some games you can use two boost modes. Adaptive provides a connection to a specified server; Specific, i.e. the Game‑Fencing feature, can limit connections by server range or by ping range.
• Tips 2: Subsequent boosts do not require re-enabling the plugin through the ZTE Smart Life app, because once enabled it remains active.
