A node serves as a junction between your local network and the game server. It optimizes the connection. The shorter the distance between the node and the game server will result in better latency performance.
What's the difference between Process Mode and Routing Mode under Nodes? Which node should I choose?
In most cases, Process Mode and Routing Mode have little to no difference in performance. GearUP Booster will list the fastest nodes for your connection and choose the best node by default. On certain occasions, where your node/mode encounter issues due to network conditions or game server issues. Do try to switch to a different node/mode and see if it improves the connection on your device.
