40014 Error Code: Solution for NF Driver Installation Failure

If you encounter error code 40014 while using GearUP, this may be caused by an NF driver installation failure. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Press Win+R to open the Run dialog, type cmd and click OK.
  2. Type the following and press Enter:sc stop gunetfilter
  3. Type the following and press Enter:sc delete gunetfilter
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Open File Explorer, enter the following in the address bar, locate the file named gunetfilter.sys and delete it: %windir%\System32\drivers\
  6. Launch GearUP and start acceleration.
