ZTE-Specific Questions

No. Smart Game Boost only grants the plugin permission to run its boost, and it leaves every existing setting exactly as it was.
No. The plugin uses an extremely small share of the router's resources, and optimizing game traffic does not affect how the router handles your other connections.
There is no need to uninstall it. Switching the plugin off in the ZTE Smart Life app shuts GearUP down completely.
No. The plugin only optimizes game traffic by changing the path that data takes. It does not touch personal information, and it never stores or modifies any.
Game-Fencing locks matchmaking to a fixed region and pins the server, so it greatly reduces the problem of being sent to a distant server by the game's own matchmaking.
GearUP runs more than 7,500 nodes of its own across all six continents. That means a node sits close to you and to the game server almost wherever you play, which is what keeps the optimized route short.
