If your router supports external storage and one is connected, pick that or the router's internal storage, then tap Start.

Only the latest Beta build of the GearUP Router App can install the plugin on a Keenetic or Netcraze router automatically. Use the download on this page to get the iOS TestFlight beta or the Android APK.
Check that you are on the right network and that it is stable, and make sure you do not fully close the GearUP App or leave it in the background for long while it installs.
Yes. Tap Unbind router in the GearUP Router App and the plugin is removed.
The plugin upgrades the firmware while it prepares the install environment, so that it can install and run cleanly. If you are only trying GearUP out, keep a copy of the firmware you are running now so you can go back to it.
No. If your router supports external storage you can install there instead, and the result is the same as installing in the router's internal storage.
No. The GearUP Plugin is a tool you can install and remove at any time. It does not go around any permission it is not allowed to use, so your hardware stays covered.
For the best game latency and connection optimization we recommend turning the router's own traffic management off, so that the two do not conflict.
