WARDOGS Error Codes: Fix Failed to Join, Join Timed Out, and Access Denied
Some WARDOGS errors all look like “cannot join server” problems, but they stop at different points. 1147405316 concerns server capacity, 1628505091 means the connection to a server timed out, and 1147405307 requires checking whether the message confirms an actual account ban.
Read the full error message before trying fixes. Reinstalling, changing graphics settings, or resetting your router will not solve every error code.
| Error code | Main message | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| 1147405316 | Server queue is full | Server capacity, selected region, join timing |
| 1628505091 | Failed to connect to the server in a reasonable time | Server status, local connection, route to the region |
| 1147405307 | Reason: Cheating / Time Left: Permanent | Whether the account is explicitly banned |
Error 1147405316: Failed to Join Server | Server Queue Is Full
FAILED TO JOIN
ERROR CODE: 1147405316
Failed to join server. Server queue is full.
This message usually means the target server cannot accept another join request or queue entry at that moment. It does not automatically mean that all WARDOGS servers are offline.
During the Closed Beta, WARDOGS limited Server Browser searches to one region at a time. Check the Region selector first, make sure it matches where you intend to play, then refresh the server list.
Do not keep selecting a server with only one or two visible slots. Server populations change quickly, and other players may enter the queue before your request arrives. Try another server in the same region with more available capacity.
If the browser loads normally, the region still has usable servers, and friends can join while you repeatedly receive this error, capacity may not be the only factor. Server-list refreshes and join requests also need a stable connection. If your request arrives late or is disrupted, a visible slot may already be gone.
Error 1628505091: JOIN TIMEDOUT
JOIN TIMEDOUT
ERROR CODE: 1628505091
Failed to connect to the server in a reasonable time.
This error means your client attempted to connect to a target server but did not complete the connection within the allowed time.
It can happen when the target server is busy, during a temporary service issue, or when the connection between your device and the selected region is unstable.
Start by checking the scope of the problem:
- Many players cannot log in, the server browser fails to load, or official channels report an issue: more likely a server-side problem.
- Only one server times out while others work: refresh the browser and try another server in the same region.
- Wi-Fi times out more often than Ethernet or a mobile hotspot: check home Wi-Fi, router placement, and background traffic.
- Timeouts mainly happen at peak hours, in one region, or during cross-region play: the route to that region may be congested or unstable.
Pause downloads, cloud syncing, streaming, and large uploads before testing again. If the problem remains on a stable local connection, focus on the route between your ISP and WARDOGS services.
Error 1147405307: ACCESS DENIED
ACCESS DENIED
ERROR CODE: 1147405307
Reason: Cheating
Time Left: Permanent
Your account has been banned.
If the message explicitly includes Reason: Cheating, Time Left: Permanent, and Your account has been banned, treat it as an account-ban notice, not a normal connection error.
Save a full screenshot of the message, note the date and time, and use the official WARDOGS support or anti-cheat appeal process to request a review if you believe the ban is incorrect.
Do not use “unban tools,” alter game files, share accounts, or attempt to bypass the restriction. These actions can create account-security risks and weaken an appeal.
However, not every access or authorization failure is automatically a ban. If a message does not explicitly state a cheating reason and permanent ban, or if it only happens in a certain region, at certain times, or during cross-region connections, check server status and connection quality before assuming the account was penalized.
Is It a Server Problem or a Connection Problem?
| What happens | More likely cause |
|---|---|
| Many players cannot log in, server lists fail, or official maintenance is announced | Server-side issue |
| Only a popular server shows Server queue is full | Server capacity |
| Usable servers exist in your region, but you repeatedly fail to join or time out | Local connection or game route |
| Errors mainly occur at peak hours, in one region, or across regions | Route instability toward that region |
| The message explicitly says Cheating, Permanent, and account has been banned | Account-ban appeal case |
| Access or join failures vary by region or time and do not show a ban reason | Server connection or authentication path issue |
When GearUP Can Help With WARDOGS Errors
These error messages are different, but connection quality can contribute to each one when your client is communicating with WARDOGS services.
If WARDOGS is not experiencing a widespread outage, your selected region still has available servers, and there is no explicit permanent-ban notice, then repeated failed joins, timeouts, unstable server-browser refreshes, or inconsistent access checks can point to the connection path between your device and WARDOGS.
GearUP optimizes the WARDOGS game-data route through gaming-focused nodes. By reducing detours, congestion, jitter, and packet loss on the default ISP path, it helps server-list requests, join requests, authentication traffic, and in-game data reach the selected region more consistently.
Search for WARDOGS in GearUP, select the region you actually play in, start the boost, then launch the game. Test under similar conditions and look for:
- Fewer
Failed to JoinandJOIN TIMEDOUTerrors - More consistent Server Browser refreshes
- Better success when joining servers with available capacity
- More stable Ping and fewer disconnects after entering a match
- Fewer access or authentication failures that do not include an explicit ban reason
Route optimization can be especially useful for cross-region play because traffic travels through more intermediate networks. It can also help with local-region servers when the default ISP route is congested or unstable.
PC players can use GearUP directly. Console players can optimize WARDOGS traffic through the GearUP Plugin on a compatible router, without installing a client on the console.
Avoid These Unhelpful Fixes
- Do not reinstall WARDOGS because one server queue is full. Reinstalling does not create server capacity.
- Do not factory-reset your router for a timeout. A normal restart and connection comparison are more useful.
- Do not change graphics settings to fix join errors. FPS settings do not control queue capacity or connection requests.
- Do not switch to a distant region just because one local server is full. You may join faster but face worse Ping afterward.
- Do not spam join requests. Refresh the browser, choose a server with more capacity, then retry after a short interval.
- Do not attempt to bypass a message explicitly confirming a permanent cheating ban. Use the official appeal process instead.
