MSI Motherboard Secure Boot Guide - 03

This Guide applies to the following motherboards:

  • PRO Z690-P DDR4 (MS-7D36)
  • MPG Z690 EDGE TI WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D31)
  • MAG B560M MORTAR (MS-7D17)
  • MAG B460M MORTAR WIFI (MS-7C82)
  • PRO Z690-A DDR4(MS-7D25)
  • B360M MORTAR (MS-7B23)

Step 1: Accessing BIOS Settings

  • Power on your PC and continuously press Delete to enter BIOS
  • Select Advanced Mode (or press F7)

Step 2: Navigating to TPM Settings

  • Switch to Settings tab
  • Select Security option

Step 3: Configuring TPM

  • Click Trusted Computing
  • Set TPM Device Selection to fTPM 2.0

Step 4: Enabling Secure Boot - Initial Setup

  • Go to: SETTINGSSecuritySecure Boot
  • Click Enroll all Factory Default keys

Step 5: Secure Boot Confirmation

  1. First prompt ("install factory defaults"): Choose YES
  2. Second prompt ("Reset Without Saving"): Choose NO

Step 6: Finalizing Secure Boot

  • Return to Settings tab
  • Select Windows OS ConfigurationSecure Boot
  • Change status to Enabled
  • Press F10 to save and restart

After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether Secure Boot has been enabled.
