MSI Motherboard Secure Boot Guide - 02

This Guide applies to the following motherboards:

  • MAG B660M MORTAR WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D42)

Step 1: Accessing BIOS Settings

  • Manually restart PC and continuously press Delete to enter MSI motherboard BIOS
  • Enter Advanced Mode (or press F7)

Step 2: Enabling TPM - Navigation

In left menu: SETTINGSAdvanced

Step 3: Enabling TPM - Configuration

  • Select Trusted Computing
  • Set TPM Device Selection to [PTT]

Step 4: Enabling Secure Boot - Mode Setup

  • Navigate: SETTINGSAdvanced
  • Set BIOS CSM/UEFI Mode to UEFI

Step 5: Enabling Secure Boot - Key Enrollment

  • Navigate: SETTINGSSecuritySecure Boot
  • Click Enroll all Factory Default keys

Step 6: Enabling Secure Boot - Pop-up Handling

  1. First pop-up ("install factory defaults"): Select YES
  2. Second pop-up ("Reset Without Saving"): Select NO

Step 7: Finalizing Secure Boot

  • Return to SETTINGSSecurity
  • Set Secure Boot to [Enabled]
  • Press F10 to save and restart

After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether Secure Boot has been enabled.
