MSI Motherboard Secure Boot Guide - 02


This Guide applies to the following motherboards:
- MAG B660M MORTAR WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D42)
Step 1: Accessing BIOS Settings
- Manually restart PC and continuously press Delete to enter MSI motherboard BIOS
- Enter Advanced Mode (or press F7)
Step 2: Enabling TPM - Navigation
In left menu: SETTINGS → Advanced
Step 3: Enabling TPM - Configuration
- Select Trusted Computing
- Set TPM Device Selection to [PTT]
Step 4: Enabling Secure Boot - Mode Setup
- Navigate: SETTINGS → Advanced
- Set BIOS CSM/UEFI Mode to UEFI
Step 5: Enabling Secure Boot - Key Enrollment
- Navigate: SETTINGS → Security → Secure Boot
- Click Enroll all Factory Default keys
Step 6: Enabling Secure Boot - Pop-up Handling
- First pop-up ("install factory defaults"): Select YES
- Second pop-up ("Reset Without Saving"): Select NO
Step 7: Finalizing Secure Boot
- Return to SETTINGS → Security
- Set Secure Boot to [Enabled]
- Press F10 to save and restart
After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether Secure Boot has been enabled.
