Step 1: Enabling Secure Boot

  • Continuously press F2 during startup to enter BIOS
  • Navigate to: SecuritySecure Boot
  • Press Enter and set to Enabled

Step 2: Troubleshooting Guide

If Platform Mode is incorrect:

  1. In Security settings, verify Platform Mode is set to User Mode
  2. If not, select Restore Factory Keys and press Enter
  3. Restart and re-enable Secure Boot

⚠️ Important Notice:

  • Enabling this on BitLocker-encrypted devices may trigger recovery key requirement at next startup
  • Contact Lenovo Support if unsure about device encryption status

After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether Secure Boot has been enabled.
