Enabling Secure Boot
Steps:
- Enter BIOS: Continuously press F10 during startup
- Navigate to:
Boot Options→Secure Boot Mode→ Set to Enabled
Enabling TPM
Enter the BIOS menu and navigate to Security, System Configuration, or Advanced.
Locate the TPM setting (may be labeled as:
- TPM / Embedded Security Device / TPM State
- Intel PTT (for Intel platforms)
- AMD fTPM (for AMD platforms)
- Security Chip)
Set the option toEnabled,On, orActivate.
⚠️ Troubleshooting:
If activation fails:
- Select Load HP Default Keys under
Boot Keys - Save settings & restart
- Re-enter BIOS to enable Secure Boot
After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether Secure Boot has been enabled.
