Enabling Secure Boot

Steps:

  • Enter BIOS: Continuously press F10 during startup
  • Navigate to: Boot OptionsSecure Boot Mode → Set to Enabled

Enabling TPM

Enter the BIOS menu and navigate to Security, System Configuration, or Advanced.
Locate the TPM setting (may be labeled as:

  • TPM / Embedded Security Device / TPM State
  • Intel PTT (for Intel platforms)
  • AMD fTPM (for AMD platforms)
  • Security Chip)
    Set the option to Enabled, On, or Activate.

⚠️ Troubleshooting:
If activation fails:

  • Select Load HP Default Keys under Boot Keys
  • Save settings & restart
  • Re-enter BIOS to enable Secure Boot

After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether Secure Boot has been enabled.
