DELL Motherboard TPM Enable Guide

Enabling TPM

  • Typical BIOS path (names vary): Security → TPM Security, or Security → Trusted Platform Module, or Security → Security Chip, or Advanced → Trusted Computing.
  • Common option names: TPM State, Security Chip, Intel PTT (Platform Trust Technology) for Intel, AMD fTPM for AMD. Set the relevant option to Enabled/On/Activated.
  • Do NOT select any “Clear” or “Reset to factory defaults” unless you intend to delete TPM keys.

After completing the above settings, please open GearUP and recheck whether TPM has been enabled.
