This Guide applies to the following motherboards:
- ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI
- ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO
- ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4
Step 1: How to Enter BIOS Settings
If the system does not automatically enter BIOS setup, manually restart the computer and continuously press the Delete key to access the ASUS motherboard BIOS interface. After entering the interface, follow the prompt to click Advanced Mode (or press the F7 key) to enter Advanced Mode.
Step 2: How to Enable TPM
(Skip this step if TPM is already enabled.)
In the top menu bar, click Advanced, then select PCH-FW Configuration from the list. Set PTT to Enable.
Step 3: How to Configure TPM
(Skip this step if TPM is already enabled.)
From the list, select Trusted Computing, then expand the Security Device Support dropdown menu and choose Enable.
Step 4: How to Enable Secure Boot
In the top menu bar, click Boot, set CSM Support to Disabled, then select Secure Boot from the list.
Step 5: How to Complete Secure Boot Setup
Locate OS Type in the list, select Windows UEFI Mode from the corresponding dropdown menu on the right. After completing the settings, press F10 to save and restart the computer.
