ARC Raiders Invites Keep Failing — A Host Problem or a Network Problem?
ARC Raiders is built for three-player squads. You gear up in the workshop, head topside with your crew, and fight through waves of machines and hostile survivors. The co-op loop only works when everyone can actually connect — and right now, that's where many players are running into trouble.
Quick Triage
Are you using the in-game invite system? Platform-level invites don't always work reliably with ARC Raiders.
Is everyone visible? Privacy and invisibility settings can hide players from each other.
Are you exceeding the player limit? ARC Raiders supports up to three players per squad.
Are game versions synced? One player on an outdated build breaks the entire party.
Server Overload
During peak hours or after major content updates, ARC Raiders servers can struggle with player volume. Check the game's official channels for server status.
Network Configuration Problems
Firewall restrictions. Your firewall may be blocking the ports ARC Raiders uses. Add the game to your firewall's exception list.
NAT type conflicts. NAT type mismatches between players can prevent connections. The player with the most open NAT type should host.
ISP routing issues. Your ISP may route traffic through congested paths.
The Host Selection Problem
The host's connection quality affects the entire session. Choose the host based on connection stability, not hardware specs. The player with the most stable upstream connection should host.
Routing Optimization
When local fixes don't resolve the issue, GearUP Booster optimizes the specific route your game traffic takes, maintaining the connection through real-time monitoring.
Console players can use HYPEREV for the same optimization through hardware.
What Not to Do
Don't reinstall your OS. Don't stack multiple network tools. Don't chase registry edits or launch parameters.
