Minecraft Mobile lag is not always a ping problem. A phone can struggle with world rendering, redstone activity, heat, and background apps even when the network is perfect. The useful first question is whether the delay appears in a local world or only on an online server.

If the device is struggling

Reduce render distance, shadows, and lighting effects. Large terrain views, many entities, and complex redstone machines make a mobile device work continuously. Long sessions can heat the phone until it throttles performance, so a pause may improve the frame rate more than another network setting. Close music, streams, downloads, and other apps that use memory or bandwidth.

If online play is the trigger

A smooth local world with delayed multiplayer actions points to the connection. Public Wi-Fi can be crowded, and switching between Wi-Fi and cellular may create interruptions. Move closer to the router or use a more open location before testing again.
