New Jobs and Level Cap Increase in Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail Expansion

Final Fantasy XIV's Dawntrail expansion will introduce two new jobs to the game, both of which will be DPS classes. One job will be a melee class, while the other will be a ranged magic class. The specifics of these jobs have not been revealed yet, but speculation among players suggests that the melee job may be dex-based and possibly inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There is also a popular opinion among the player base that a pirate class capable of dual-wielding weapons may be on the horizon.

Regarding the magic DPS job, less information is available. Some players have interpreted Yoshi-P's hint about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a potential sign of a Pictomancer class, while others believe the magic class will focus on damage-over-time effects.

In addition to new jobs, the level cap in Final Fantasy XIV will also be raised in the Dawntrail expansion. Similar to previous expansions, the upcoming Dawntrail expansion for Final Fantasy XIV will increase the level cap to 100 for players who own the expansion. This implies that all current jobs, including combat, crafting, and gathering jobs, will receive new actions and abilities as they level up.

In terms of content, players can expect the usual offerings in dawntrail. This includes a new main scenario questline, a selection of new dungeons (likely 6, as seen in previous expansions), new trials (likely 3, as seen in previous expansions), a new 8-man raid, a new alliance raid, and a new ultimate raid. Additionally, there will be a new tribe called the Pelupelu, updates to PvP, updates to the Blue Mage job, and updates to the Golden Saucer.

Graphical updates are also expected in the dawntrail expansion of Final Fantasy XIV.
