AION 2 Cannot Connect or Keeps Disconnecting? Fix PC Connection Problems in Three Steps

Your party is already online, but you are stuck at login, character loading, or a zone transition. AION 2 connection problems do not all come from the same place. The service may be unavailable, PURPLE or account verification may need attention, or your route to the game server may be unstable.

1. Check Whether Your Service Is Available

Check official notices for the service region you actually play on. Korea, Taiwan, and future global services can have different opening schedules, maintenance windows, and service status. One region’s notice does not confirm another region is available.

Check each notice’s date, end time, and time zone. An old post marked “maintenance completed” does not indicate a current outage.

2. PURPLE Opens, but You Cannot Enter AION 2

Fully exit both the game and PURPLE first. If PURPLE remains in the system tray, exit it there as well, then reopen the launcher.

• Crash report or application closing: Record the error and treat it as a client issue first, rather than automatically assuming a network problem.

If security software specifically reports that it blocked the game or launcher, review its notification and allow the legitimate program where appropriate. You do not need to remove anti-cheat components or disable all protection to test a connection.

3. You Can Log In, but Loading, Zone Changes, or Gameplay Keep Disconnecting

If you can enter AION 2 but cannot stay connected, test both your local network and the route from your PC to the game server.

A normal speed test does not prove that a game connection is healthy. Games need data to arrive reliably and on time, not only high download throughput.

• Packet loss means some game data does not arrive successfully.
